10 Stunning Flash-Free Photography Website Templates

Flash is a terrible choice for your photography website. There, I’ve said it.

Flash is the enemy of search engines. If your potential customers can’t find your website then it isn’t doing you any good!

Choose a website platform that is strong, customizable, and is Google’s best friend. WordPress.

WordPress is the not-so-secret secret of anyone who knows that a website should be both beautiful AND searchable.

These flash-free photography website templates will help you be on your way to having a gorgeous (can you believe how gorgeous these are?) website that pulls in searchers like flies to some really awesome cake. You can totally do this.

Don’t know how to install WordPress? See the bottom of the post to find out how to get started.

You need a new website. That one you have just isn’t cutting it.

You might have something that looks ok on the service, but if customers can’t find you or the design isn’t a good representation of your quality or brand, then it really isn’t helping you much.

The “Fake” Website

If you are still using Photoreflect or another print sales system as your site it is time for a change. They may work great for selling prints to customers, but they aren’t a good representation of your brand to a prospect. And no true professional uses a domain with another site tacked on the end. (ie. www.yourname.photoreflect.com). Bleh.

Flash photography websites are worthless. Seriously.

So what about those flash template sites? They’re pretty snazzy right? Well, sure, on the outside. But on the inside is a deep black abyss; to Google anyway.

If you haven’t heard by now, here it is. Search engines can’t read flash. Even if they get there at some point in the future, you will be far far behind your competitors who stepped it up and moved over to an HTML site.

No freebies, no flash. So what now?

So to give you a little kick in the right direction here are 10 well-designed, attractive, stunning website templates that utilize WordPress and HTML. They also all incorporate your blog (you are blogging right?) right into the design so everything is cohesive.

And the best thing? All of these photography website templates are $35 or less. Not $35 per month. Not a $35 deposit. A one time $35 price tag.
